Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care
We are delighted to provide a grant of £50,000 towards the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice building appeal. The new hospice will offer people across Surrey and Hampshire a range of inpatient, Hospice at Home and outpatient facilities.
Rural Life Living Museum
Following an urgent appeal by the Rural Life Living Museum in Tilford, the Trustees donated £5,000. It brings an end their £150,000 appeal to save it from closure.
Woodlarks Centre
Following a successful application, we have awarded the Woodlarks Centre £2,400. It will be used to fund their new sensory room for people with special needs.
Farnham Assist Christmas Lunch
At our recent Trustee meeting, we awarded Farnham Assist over £500 to help cover the cost of Christmas lunch.
40 Degreez Centre
Our Trustees have awarded a grant of £3,000 to the 40 Degreez Centre to support their summer programme. The staff and trustees of 40 Degreez take pride in the services offered to our local community.
St Peter's School, Wrecclesham
We recently awarded St Peter’s School with a £3,000 grant to help cover the costs of updating its kitchen facilities. The revamped facilities will enable the delivery of a health lifestyle programme.
New Ashgate Gallery, Farnham
A £500 grant has been awarded to the New Ashgate Gallery to help cover the cost of creating disabled access. This will help to ensure the gallery is more accessible.
Farnham In Bloom 2024
We’re delighted that the Farnham Institute Charity is once again a Silver Sponsor for Farnham in Bloom. We have provided £750 to help ensure this colourful event is a success.
1st Bourne Guides
We’re supporting 1st Bourne Guides with a grant of £1500 to help cover the costs of much needed camping equipment.
Home Start
Our Trustees awarded Home- Start with a grant of £1,040 to pay for accommodation and craft equipment in Farnham. The grant will help the organisation to help families with children aged under 5 who need additional support.
Surrey Drug And Alcohol Care
We recently provided a grant of just over £1,300 to Surrey Drug and Alcohol Care. The organisation provides essential counselling to Farnham residents who require support.
Badshot Lea Community Garden
Voluntary group The Badshot Lea Bloomers opened a community garden at the kiln with our support and at our recent meeting we agreed to provide £1,000 towards a new and much needed shed.
Woodlarks Camp Site
The team at Woodlarks Camp Site have big plans to update the camp kitchen to modern standards and with wheelchair access. Our Trustees have pledged £3,000 towards the costs.
Farnham Youth Choir
Farnham Youth Choir recently requested a grant to help cover the cost of hiring storage for all their music and props. We have granted £1,250.
Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity
We have granted the Helen Arkell charity £1,000 towards fire security within their new West Street venue in Farnham, Surrey.
Headway
We have provided Headway with a grant of £1,000 towards their valuable work with Farnham residents who have suffered brain injuries.
Supporting School Trips 2023
We recently provided grants to several local schools to help cover the costs of education trips for pupils. These include Highfield, Potters Gate and the Abbey School, Farnham.
Farnham Assist
£600 has been pledged to to help cover the costs of updating the Farnham Assist website – an organisation which supports our elderly community.
Waverley Hoppa Community Transport
We recently donated a grant of £1,000 to Waverley Hoppa Community Transport to help cover the costs of a new electric minibus.
Step By Step
We are pleased to support Step by Step and recently provided the local charity with a grant of £500 that will benefit local young people facing homelessness.
Stopgap Dance Company
This year a £1000 grant will help to fund a fantastic dance programme for local disabled young people, organised by Stopgap Dance Company.
Farnham Festival of Transport 2023
Our Trustees supported the popular Farnham Festival of Transport 2023, with a grant of £1200. This will help to ensure this community event is a success.
Surrey Drug and Alcohol Care Programme
We have donated £1000 towards the Surrey Drug and Alcohol care programme which operates locally.
Powerchair Football Club
We have donated £2,000 towards setting up Powerchair football facilities at Heath End School. It is a unique sport that provides opportunities for people with a high level of impairment to enjoy the game.
Herons Way Campsite
Trustees recently granted £1,000 to the Herons Way Campsite in Tilford to help cover the costs of a nature reserve.
Rowledge Tennis Club
Rowledge Tennis Club is planning to build a replacement club house and our Trustees have granted £2,440 towards a new kitchen.
Farnham Voices Together Community Choir
Farnham Voices Together Community Choir is open to everyone regardless of singing ability and a request for £650 was granted at our recent meeting.
Brambleton Hall
Our Trustees recently pledged £4,500 towards much needed fencing to surround the proposed enlargement of the Brambleton Hall Community Centre. The hall is used by many for social events and activities.
Hale Academy - Maths Resources
Trustees awarded a grant of £2,855 to Hale Academy to help cover the costs of maths resources and new play storage for the nursery and reception children.
Space to Grow
Trustees pledged £1,000 to Space To Grow to help cover the costs of building a bigger shed for the organisations popular ‘Men in Sheds’ initiative.
Bishops Meadow Trust
The Bishops Meadow Trust, a local charitable organisation, has just been awarded a grant of £1,899 to purchase a ride on mower. The aim of the charity is to manage the meadow, increase bio-diversity and make sure it is an enjoyable place for the local community.
Bourne Blades
We are delighted to support the new girls Bourne Blades football team and recently provided a grant of £1,000. The girls now have the kit required for their matches.
