Frensham Pond Sailing Club
Trustees recently granted Frensham Pond Sailing Club £2,500 towards repairs for the main jetty for disabled sailing.
Waverley Hoppa
£2,500 has been awarded to Waverley Hoppa which now offers transport to Frimley and Royal Surrey Hospitals.
Farnham Assist
To help cover the cost of replacing old computers for Farnham Assist we have recently granted over £900.
New Ashgate Gallery, Farnham
We awarded £250 to New Ashgate Gallery to support with the replacement of essential equipment.
The Abbey School
The Abbey School required help to fund the coach costs for children to experience a residential trip in the Summer term. We were delighted to provide a grant of £2,500.
The Melp Foundation
The Melp Foundation is dedicated to improving community mental health through grant-funded initiatives and partnerships. We’ve just granted £2,500 so the organisation can work with pupils at Heath End School in Farnham.
Victoria Garden, Farnham
Our Trustees recently awarded Victoria Garden a grant of £2,000 to help cover the costs of a new garden path. This wonderful garden oasis can be accessed from Farnham town centre.
Rural Life Living Museum
We have donated £750 the Rural Life Living Museum in Tilford to help with the costs of school visits to the museum.
Wrecclesham Youth Café
Things are getting crafty at the new Wrecclesham Youth Café as we’ve donated £750 towards art equipment!
St Peter’s School, Wrecclesham
St Peter’s School Wrecclesham has just been awarded a grant of £1,500 towards their running track where pupils complete a mile each day.
Andre Noir Jewellers Supports Surrey Drug and Alcohol Care
At a Trustee meeting earlier this year we were joined by Mr Dan Fox, the new owner of Andre Noir bespoke jewellers in the Lion and Lamb Yard Farnham. His firm raised £1,000 for the charity through their valentines promotion. We have awarded the funds to Surrey Drug and Alcohol Care which supports clients locally.
Farnham Support Fund
This year Farnham Institute continues to support the Farnham Support Fund which helps local residents and families in real need. Another £2,500 has been put in the kitty, along with the Town Councils and major Farnham charities donations.
Farnham In Bloom 2025
We’re delighted that the Farnham Institute Charity is once again a Silver Sponsor for Farnham in Bloom. We have provided a donation to help ensure this colourful event is a success.
Farnham Voices Together
Farnham Voices Together community group has a membership of around 70 individuals and they raise funds for a charity at each of their concerts. We recently granted them £500.
Home Start
Home Start offers weekly support for families with under 5 year olds in Farnham. £1,140 has been granted towards the cost of hall hire and craft activities.
Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care
We were delighted to provide a grant of £50,000 towards the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice building appeal. The new hospice will offer people across Surrey and Hampshire a range of inpatient, Hospice at Home and outpatient facilities.
1st Bourne Guides
We’re supporting 1st Bourne Guides with a grant of £1500 to help cover the costs of much needed camping equipment.
Farnham Youth Choir
Farnham Youth Choir recently requested a grant to help cover the cost of hiring storage for all their music and props. We have granted £1,250.
Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity
We have granted the Helen Arkell charity £1,000 towards fire security within their new West Street venue in Farnham, Surrey.
Headway
We have provided Headway with a grant of £1,000 towards their valuable work with Farnham residents who have suffered brain injuries.
Waverley Hoppa Community Transport
We donated a grant of £1,000 to Waverley Hoppa Community Transport to help cover the costs of a new electric minibus.
Step By Step
We are pleased to support Step by Step and recently provided the local charity with a grant of £500 that will benefit local young people facing homelessness.
Surrey Drug and Alcohol Care Programme
We have donated £1000 towards the Surrey Drug and Alcohol care programme which operates locally.
Powerchair Football Club
We have donated £2,000 towards setting up Powerchair football facilities at Heath End School. It is a unique sport that provides opportunities for people with a high level of impairment to enjoy the game.
Herons Way Campsite
Trustees granted £1,000 to the Herons Way Campsite in Tilford to help cover the costs of a nature reserve.
Brambleton Hall
Our Trustees pledged £4,500 towards much needed fencing to surround the proposed enlargement of the Brambleton Hall Community Centre. The hall is used by many for social events and activities.
Hale Academy - Maths Resources
Trustees awarded a grant of £2,855 to Hale Academy to help cover the costs of maths resources and new play storage for the nursery and reception children.
Bishops Meadow Trust
The Bishops Meadow Trust, a local charitable organisation, has just been awarded a grant of £1,899 to purchase a ride on mower. The aim of the charity is to manage the meadow, increase bio-diversity and make sure it is an enjoyable place for the local community.
Bourne Blades
We are delighted to support the new girls Bourne Blades football team and recently provided a grant of £1,000. The girls now have the kit required for their matches.
